Paul Goodrick and Louise Nevett use sculpture and oil painting to respond
to food - cake and chocolate in this case - and the contemporary attitude
towards it. Paul focuses on the absence of the edible in his curiously
attractive reversed object sculptures, hinting at over-indulgence, while
Louise in her paintings draws attention to the commonplace by isolating
the objects and scaling up the work. |
