in the triangle piece, there is a great variety of form, colour and material.
Frames are both raised and on the round, one with straight sticks, the
other with broken and cut sticks. We used moss, grass, reed tops, leaves,
grass and rose hips. |

After three weeks the work has decayed,
almost beyond recognition. The effect of time, nature and the elements is
a theme discussed by the children. Often visiting classes look at the work
of the previous groups to see what has happened to it. They are encouraged
to use the materials from the old sculptre.

Here
the children have used a made object in their artwork. Discussion took place
about whether it should be used and what the effect was of introducing made
objects into a sculpture built mainly from natural things. |
