"The willow man" |

This is how the sculpture
looked (on the left) when it was first made by threading willow round
a roughly constructed frame, or 'armatune'. It is many months old in
the picture on the right, and begining to lose its form - a natural
process. Nature is also having another effect. Some of the willow is
sprouting and it may become a 'live' sculpture. |
