| The Red Cone stood where the Pylon Bird Sculpture was sited. In fact it was made from the Bird, cut up into a thousand pieces after it was vandalised (Click here to see the Pylon Bird). It is a closed form sculpture, unlike the open form of the Pylon Bird which could be seen through. Before being put in position, the red cone was photographed in other places on the site, including the central sub-station area. has now moved to another location on the Reserve. In 2000 this scupture by Paul Goodrick was a finalist for the Rouse Sculpture Prize for public art in Kent. | ||||||||||||||||||
