Green From Space

“Green from Space” is an interactive installation on The Green Court of The King’s School, Canterbury. Its size was determined by the number of participants and the mathematics of Leonardo Fibonacci. Anyone at the School or in the School grounds was asked if they would like to write a few words about the environment on a disc of coppiced wood. In two days 558 people responded. The discs were placed on willow rods and became part of a growing spiral, which mirrors all spirals in nature, including the spiral of our Galaxy.
