Wood Vibrations Project - The Inspiration
Woodland, natural sustainable materials, and the sounds found in Eglish woods were the main inspiration. Snow was on the ground when Poulton Wood was visited and the wind had blown white stright lines on the trees

Other influences which played a role were Aboriginal paintings and sculpture and bold simple colour forms found in art, like that of Joan Miro.
