ARTISTS' INTERVENTIONS

Exhibition during Architecture Week 2005

For this event Paul Goodrick's piece of work is called ‘Interdome’, fusing together two sculptures he pre-made, each fabricated from a sustainable resource, willow, which through re-harvesting prolongs the life of the tree. The sculptures themselves take on this notion of re-growth through reuse, and also, through reassembly, they adopt a facet of the consumer society – the “flat-pack” item.
